Here are the screen captures for Yvonne Strahovski’s interview with Carson Daly on October 28, 2009. The legendary interview where Yvonne gave a shout out to Strahotski.com specifically (can it be legendary in less than 24 hours?).
It’s probably also bigger because — let’s face it — we’re all needing an Yvonne Strahovski fix right about now.
All of the pictures are lovely of course, but my favorite is this picture which I’ve made a special thumbnail for.
This capture is taken right before she starts talking about Strahotski.com. It’s that split second when she’s formulating exactly what she’s going to say to Carson Daly’s question about her Googling herself…
At least that’s how I imagine it anyway. It may be wishful thinking on my part, but it’s a beautiful screen capture nonetheless.
Though I have chosen not to personally upload the video to YouTube, someone else has done so. I can’t in good conscience keep such an awesome interview from the masses, so enjoy!
What did you think of the interview and the screen captures? Yvonne’s becoming a regular over at Last Call, and each interview just gets better and better.
Sleuths in our forums have recently uncovered an interesting fact about some work Yvonne has been doing on the side. Apparently, she’s dabbling in video game voiceover and modeling.
Mass Effect is a game from Bioware released in 2007. Fast forward two years later, and a new game in the series is coming out for the iPhone called Mass Effect Galaxy, which introduces the character of Miranda.
The game is intended to serve as a narrative bridge between the first Mass Effect and the upcoming Mass Effect 2 in 2010.
Yvonne provides the voice for Miranda, whom was also modeled after Ms. Strahovski. The screenshot above makes it incredibly clear; the profile looks exactly like Yvonne.
Though Miranda is slated to appear in Mass Effect 2, there is no confirmation as to whether Yvonne will reprise the role.
If you’re into gaming, it might be worth a look to get a digital Yvonne Strahovski fix. I might have to check out Mass Effect 2 next year!
Edit by Rob: Here’s a link to Mass Effect Galaxy on the app store for you iPhone and iPod Touch people out there…
Though Yvonne’s been in a few top 100s and top 10s lately, I’ve failed to get the word out in a timely manner. Reader bzzg has caught my attention this time, though, with some nice scans of Yvonne Strahovski from Best Life magazine.
I’ve thrown them up in the magazine pics gallery for posterity. There are 3 in total, so be sure to head over and check out the third!
Yvonne is as beautiful as always, and if you read the text you’ll learn what she looks for in a man. Why does it seem that magazines are so interested in that topic?
The thing about Robbie McNeill’s directing is that he loves to get close-ups of Yvonne’s face. Honestly, who wouldn’t? I appreciate his attention to the details of Ms. Strahovski’s amazing facial expressions.
Though I require that Yvonne be part of every picture, I did try to sneak in a few where she wasn’t the main focus of the picture. Surely everyone wants to see the aftermath of Chuck’s kung fu spree, or the loving gaze of Awesome and Ellie.
This episode had it all — action, emotion, and the “Chuck smile.” It was really a breeze to cap because Yvonne was breathtakingly beautiful in every scene (as she always is).
I especially like the “OMG I can totally date Chuck now” face as they drive away from the air strike myself. What’s your favorite?
As always, you can also check out the music for Versus the Colonel to listen to all your favorites from the episode!
