I woke up this morning (after being left at the hotel yet again by Lykaon) and realized that today was the big day!  I was finally going to meet the lovely and talented Yvonne Strahovski.

Lykaon woke me up at a painstaking 6am to make sure I was ready for the big day.  We then headed down to Port Imperial to catch the Ferry.

We got to the convention center at 8am and were saddened to learn that we weren’t allowed to wait in line specifically for Yvonne until 10am.

So we sat.  And sat.  And along the way we met a very nice professional photographer, and a couple of Strahotski.com readers, Carastille and Reen426.

The time finally arrived and we got a seat in the fourth row; plenty close to Yvonne.

After a Chuck recap, she came in and wow.  I know I’m just a bear, and partial to the bear ladies, but Yvonne was stunning.  I didn’t know humans could be that pretty!

I was really nervous.  What if she didn’t like me?  What if she had another bear in her life?

The Q&A session started and Lykaon jerked me up (with little a care for my well-being).  Second in line.  This was going to be good.

Lykaon got the mic and started by introducing himself as the webmaster of the site.  Yvonne said, “WoW.”  (Lykaon tells me there is audio that he’ll put up on the site later.)

He offered me up to her and there was a few moments of confusion, since no one knew the protocol for delivering a bear to a pretty lady.

Finally, the witty Chris Fedak had the answer — “Throw it!”

And there I was hurdling through the air until Mr. Fedak finally caught me.  And then he handed me over and I was face to face with Yvonne.  I had finally made it home.

Later in the panel someone asked her who her craziest fan was and she held me up stating, “Probably the guy who made this site!”  (She’s right, he is pretty crazy.)

This will be my last blog for Strahotski.com since I have a big life ahead of me now with Yvonne.  Thanks for all of the support!

Lykaon says that when he gets home to real internet he will provide even more info and lots more pictures of both me and Yvonne.  Look for it today or tomorrow!

It’s not much of a consolation for the show being on hiatus for the next month, but I have a couple of additions to the gallery for your perusal.

First up is a new fan wallpaper from reader James, and second is a new motivational poster from reader Carterman (via the forums).

A lot of Chuck viewers were disappointed that the Die Hard references in Chuck Versus the Santa Claus didn’t include John McClane’s signature line.  It was therefore only a matter of time before someone figured out a way to work it in!

When Chuck is in full swing, it’s all I can do to keep up with screen captures, reviews, and the forums so I apologize for the lack of other content on the site.

It’s easy to forget during the Chuck season, but Strahotski.com is first and foremost and homage to the beauty that is Yvonne Strahovski.  It’s all about the Aussie beauty and what she brings to the world.

So as slow as I am, I’m proud to bring you some more scans from reader bzzg.  He’s always on top of things and I should have brought them to you earlier than today.

Nonetheless, I know you’ll enjoy the 5 new pics of Yvonne from In Style Magazine!  (as an added bonus, bzzg has also found some of the digital originals)

I really enjoy getting new Motivational Posters and LOLStrahovski pics.  I really wish the latter would have taken off a little more than it did.  Oh well, I guess I’ll have to keep happy with LOLCats.

Our boy Devon finally did it!  Not only did he see Yvonne, but he actually met her, chatted her up, and even asked her about the site!

Good to know that ‘Strahotski’ has become a loving nickname for Ms. Strahovski while on the set of Chuck.  We’ve always been fond of it.

Congratulations to Devon for getting to meet the lovely lass.  If we bug her about the site enough, maybe we’ll get an interview someday (which of course has the ulterior motive of me getting to meet her!).
