Episode 3.15 Captures

There were no lions or bears, but there was a tiger.  And now there are 68 new screen captures in the gallery for Episode 3.15 — Chuck Versus the Role Models.

Yvonne Strahovski is really getting to have fun now that the script has finally put her tortured past behind her.  We didn’t get quite as many great shots of her this week, but she’s still as beautiful as ever.

Before you go to look at all the new screen captures, be sure to download a soundtrack for your perusing from the Episode 15 Music page.  There’s sure to be something that will inspire you.

Enjoy!

Strahovski and Role Models

So now that Chuck & Sarah are content to smooch their lives away, what exactly are we left with?

For starters, it looks like Casey’s nerves are going to be put to the test by Mr. Grimes, while Chuck and Sarah get a crash course on what it is to be both spies and lovers.

Hopefully you’re back from your Chuck March, because it’s time to get to the review of Episode 3.15 — Chuck Versus the Role Models.

“I’m sure you’ll make him sparkle.”

To start with, this episode sure had a lot of fun with the scene transitions.  In true Chuck fashion, the B plot was a practically a mirror of the A plot.  It’s always a good way to tie an episode together.

With Chuck coming from a broken home and Sarah coming from even worse, it will be interesting to see how they play with that in developing both characters into a mature relationship.  Ellie & Awesome may be the only positive role models either of them have.

“He’s nothing but a CIA sanctioned gigolo.”

I know Chuck is a light-hearted show for the most part, but Fred Willard is just too over the top for me.  I’m too used to seeing him being completely over the top.  I can’t believe that Chuck would ever see anything in him worth idolizing.

The only thing I remember Swoosie Kurtz from is Liar Liar.  She did great in that movie, and she did fine here.  Not my favorite Chuck guest stars, though.  I much preferred John Laroquette as a washed up spy.

Episode 3.14 Captures

There’s nothing cuter than Yvonne Strahovski hamming it up for the camera and she hasn’t gotten to that nearly enough until now.  To prove it, I’ve added 90 new screen captures in the gallery for Episode 3.14 — Chuck Versus the Honeymooners.

Yes there was a lot of lingerie in this episode.  Yes Yvonne surprised us with a whole new set of beautiful facial expressions.  Yes this episode was just about as awesome as it gets.  Yes I fear for our bandwidth.

Rob has also dutifully updated the Episode 14 Music.  But wait — there’s more!  He’s also done the legwork on getting you guys download links to all of the songs from Chuck’s Playlist for Sarah.

Enjoy!

Strahovski and Honeymooners

Although a hiatus for Chuck means a hiatus for me, I don’t really care for the break.  Hopefully, you all enjoyed re-watching First Class and Beard.

At any rate, there’s sure to be fun now that Sarah and Chuck are finally a cute couple.  What this means for us Yvonne Strahovski fans is that we get to see a whole new side of Sarah Walker — love.

I know I can’t wait, so let’s get to the review of Episode 3.14 — Chuck Versus the Honeymooners.

“I’m pretty good with knives.”

Well there’s certainly no doubt that Chuck and Sarah are together.  I didn’t count the number of room service visits there, but I’m pretty impressed with Chuck’s… stamina.

Wasn’t Sarah in Europe after being kidnapped?  Nice of Shaw to pack up her unmentionables before he whisked her away.  Wait… am I complaining about Yvonne Strahovski in lingerie?  What was I thinking?

But they’re together.  And that’s what matters right?  It’s really great to see Yvonne be able to loosen up a bit.  I think we got all new expressions from her face this week.

“Babe — this didn’t happen by accident.”

I could almost be happy watching a Awesome/Ellie spinoff.  I have no idea what the premise of the show would be, but sign me up.

I was really hoping we’d get to see more of drunk Ellie.  Who can forget that when Ellie gets drunk, words taste like peaches.

We also got quite a subdued entry by Jeffster.  Their rendition wasn’t half-bad.  Just a few more tracks and maybe we can get a Jeffseter album.  I’m sure it’ll shoot straight up the charts!

Strahovski and Beards (Take 2)

The wait continues as we go one more week without a new episode of Chuck.  Instead, we get the honor of re-watching one of the best episodes of the season, Episode 3.09 — Chuck Versus the Beard.

This episode isn’t big on Yvonne Strahovski content, but we do get to see Zachary Levi’s first chance at directing.  I also really like how much plot is thrown Joshua Gomez’s way in this episode.

Though Yvonne is only a minor player in Versus the Beard, it doesn’t hurt that we get a glimpse of the always lovely Sarah Lancaster in her bikini.  You also have to look at Shaw.  Isn’t he dead?

So don’t forget to watch Chuck Versus the Beard for the second time tonight. Heck, might as well buy some Subway too.  I’d love to hear your opinion after your second viewing of Chuck Versus The Beard!
