I don’t believe i can explain how super stoked i am that jill is finally gone! I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning who just got a puppy!!! I can only wish that we can have some more chuck/sarah special moments in the future…they are my favorite! Anyway i do enjoy the new style of review…though i don’t think it really covered the episode as well as the others..but hey i watched it so whatever!
Loved the episode and Love Yvonne!
Whooo Jill is gone! lol

This format is MUCH better!

That was amazing! I loved how he said that. “When you were about to kill Sarah, you made my decision for me.” That just made my night! I only wish they had done more with Sarah and Chuck after that. Because she was there when he said it all. So she knows he saved her life. I just wish they had talked a bit more or maybe even kissed! But I suppose if that had happened everyone would kill over with joy!

Oh and also I love the new format, easier to be read. But you could add in a few more parts.
Comment by PurpleHaze — November 24, 2008 @ 10:30 pm
Good feedback. Sometimes I worry that it’s going to get too long and people won’t read it. Perhaps I underestimate the fanbase.

Love the new format, far easier to read. With regard to the show – I thought it was fan-flippin-tastic and not just because we’re finally free from Jill, but the whole rollercoaster ride is finally done.
I agree that the best part of the show for me was the end where Chuck turned the tables on Jill. Finally, finally Chuck grows up and deals with his Jill issues. Now maybe the writers will give us more Chuck and Sarah which is what we want. Heck, I’d be happy if they’d do a “where’s Chuck?” episode that focused on Sarah alone, the more screen time for Yvonne the better.

I like your “stream of consciousness” from last week more!
But this is a cool format too! Anyways, now that Jill is out of the picture (My god, this arc has like the most kissing I have ever witness on TV), we’re back to square one. I, for one, wasn’t fond of the past two episodes, but this one kinda redeem Chuck. No wonder the critics love the three episodes– they’ve seen all three in one sitting and doesn’t have to suffer through the angst and anger for two straight weeks. LOL

As much as I wanted to see Sarah beat Jill like the proverbial red-haired stepchild and/or dusty rug, I loved it that Chuck was the one who took Jill down in inimitable Chuck fashion.
The Quote Format is Awesome. I likes it! I look forward to your screen caps, as always, because you’ve got a great eye (I’ve been using the shot of Sarah firing the sniper rifle as my desktop wallpaper for the last week; you know how I love Yvonne with a gun in hand).

I like all three review styles. This episode didn’t require heavy analysis so the quotation style worked well.
I missed Anna too; she should have been there for Thanksgiving dinner if Jeff and Lester were. I was also disappointed that the Awesomes didn’t burst through the door at the end, citing another change in plans.
Overall a great episode. Nice to see Chuck act so decisively (and in front of Sarah) at the end.

OMFG. Cutest episode, JILL GONE and Chuck cares about Sarah =] LOVED it.
Btw, love the quotes. Maybe you could do a quotes/summary kind of hybrid?
I wished there was more Sarah on Jill ass-kicking. But I’ll take what we can get.
Overall, amazing. And yes, I love Yvonne with gun at hand. SuperHOT.
Can’t wait!

You missed the best quote: “Unleash the Casey”. And I think I prefer this format.

great show and i do like your new format. glad to see chuck’s sister in the show, she looked hot, how about a few picks of her too.
Comment by k — November 25, 2008 @ 5:52 pm
Don’t think I’m not tempted, k. Especially the hilarious Morgan fantasy with her carving the turkey.
I didn’t really like Ellie at first, but now I adore her. But at the end of the day, this is an Yvonne Strahovski site.
As much as we might talk about Chuck, we try to keep the focus on Yvonne.
If I had time, I’d start up a sister site dedicated to Chuck. But, honestly, who has that kind of time?

Good plan. You can hardly keep up with Yvonne related stuff.
Now, if only you find the time to update the “bio”. (I just recently discovered that the “interviews” link is constantly updated!) LOL Yes I know I’m being anal. HAHA

I like this style of review and also agree with purplehaze that a bit more could be added under each quote. I think Jordana Brewster is a great actress and played the role well, but there is just no competing with the Chuck/Sarah storyline we all love so much. I hope we get to see Sarah share some of her true feelings with Chuck at some point soon. BTW, you do a great job with this site. We can always count on you to have the reviews up and the screen captures up so fast! Thanks!

I WISH CASEY WAS AT THANKSGIVING DINNER TOO!

@bzzg
I’m glad you’ve noticed I’ve been trying to keep the interviews page up to date… as far as the bio page goes, I too wish we had more to add. Unfortunately, I haven’t really been able to find much new information. Any new information is welcomed.

Rob! Ah, the man behind the scene!
Her page on TV.com seems to get updated quite often, maybe you can check there. But here’s a starter, Yvonne is not currently filming “The Canyon”.
