  1. Looks exciting – and Yvonne looks great!

  2. Yvonne never ceases to amaze me. Her flawless American accent is crazy good. She actually sounds a bit different than Sarah. Even though I feel like I’ve seen the whole movie from all the picture stills and that trailer, I’d watch it to see Yvonne!

  3. I’m usually kind of half way on thrillers. Sometimes I like them. Sometimes they are just heavier than I want to lift. The trailer for this one definitely put me in the “go see it” mode. I’m up for seeing it especially right now ASAP with Chuck suspended until February.

  10. This actually does look pretty good from the trailer, I think Yvonne can do just about anything and make it a hit, was almost expecting to see Zac Levi show up….lol

  11. Wasn’t for Yvonne in this movie, I wouldn’t have any interest in it. Frankly, thought of to be quite average and even in some “screams type of scene” she didn’t sound so convincing…BUT, I really hope to be wrong, love Yvonne

  12. Finally some progress on this movie!

  13. Not too impressed, actually. Looks low budg all the way, with just those few characters throughout the whole movie (which does mean more Yvonne!). Yvonne’s accent does sound different, I think it sounds better in Chuck. Maybe they forced her into trying to do a real specific accent rather than letting her do it the way she already knows how.

Her acting looks up to par I suppose, though she is playing a much different role here, at least at the start, where she starts off as a loveable victim. Then the movie goes on, they fight to stay alive, lose their tour guide. They couple has arguments and goes through all this crazy stuff, and in the end it brings them closer together and they live happily ever after. That is probably the jest of the movie, though I hope I’m wrong and its not that predictable.

So I don’t think this will be a huge hit, but let’s remember that for her, even a movie like this is a big deal. Of course we can’t forget that she went from unkown to celebrity in such a short time.
Hopefully this movie got her feet wet, I know she’s working on that other one now, then hopefully she earns some better options for roles and can nail a few higher budget movies.
If chuck doesn’t last forever, this girl just might go places!

  15. This is great info. Yvonne is a solid actress.

How about we discuss possible storylines for Chuck, though?

Such as will Scott Bakula be a regular?
This has to increase the cost of the show.

Also, one of the premises was that Chuck and Ellie take care of themselves.

Since Zach/Chuck is not as good in the action scenes as Yvonne/Sarah and Casey, how can they show his new “powers”?

    etc.

  16. that movie actually looks decent (obviously with Yvonne, SOMETHING about it is going to be good). But, even if she wasn’t in the movie, I would want to see it. I love the Grand Canyon…one of the greatest places on Earth…and this movie looks just interesting enough to make me want to see it.

  21. In my mind Yvonne has done such a good job in the TV series CHUCK that she gets a gimme and I will go see it no matter what the reviewers say. But the preview does look good.
