Episode 2.22 Captures
Though it doesn’t quite live up to last week’s Yvonne Strahovski binge, the season finale of Chuck has brought in a respectable 72 new screen captures from Episode 2.22 – Chuck Versus the Ring.
The thing about Robbie McNeill’s directing is that he loves to get close-ups of Yvonne’s face. Honestly, who wouldn’t? I appreciate his attention to the details of Ms. Strahovski’s amazing facial expressions.
Though I require that Yvonne be part of every picture, I did try to sneak in a few where she wasn’t the main focus of the picture. Surely everyone wants to see the aftermath of Chuck’s kung fu spree, or the loving gaze of Awesome and Ellie.

Once again, you have done a fantastic job with screen caps! Now we have to live in hope that NBC picks up Chuck for a third season so you can continue to capture pictures of Yvonne. The long hot summer is upon us, but at least we can visit this site and get our fix of the reason for its existence.

Good job again lyakon. Even though I just signed up for membership, I’ve always come here to get my daily dose of Yvonne Strahovski. Great job every week and here’s to a season 3 of Chuck.

Wow, I just pre-ordered season two at amazon and both season one and two are up in the charts pretty high.

I’m not prone to go all fanboi over anyone, but if I were, it would certainly be Yvonne (and Kristen Chenoweth, of course).
But you make an excellent point here. One of the reasons that both Zac and Yvonne (and even Adam) are so well cast for this show, is that they can put stage directions on their faces, clearly enough for us to be able nearly to read the script, so very well.
There’s one particular scene, that I can’t remember right now, where Sarah manages to convery regret that she can’t behave the way she’d clearly prefer to, because her job and mission forbid it. That’s a lot to ask of a face; she’s a *really* good TV actress. Zac and Adam have done similar shots. It’s one of the things that makes the show sing, IMNSHO.
