I don’t know what other people think but me personally think that chuck vs the colonel was prolly the best episode in a long time…u got the beautiful yvonne strahovski lookin amazing and of course the long awaited serious all out make out session with chuck and sarah n if it wasn’t for morgan maybe more :=P chucks supposed freedom was brought up but of course something is going to happen like his fathers intersect didnt work right or roark (chevy chase) will expose chucks c.i.a involvement to elle and morgan, but im excited to see what direction they take it for the next season.

I can understand that take on it, Alex, but. . .
First: I don’t think for a second that they are going to kill Sarah, or that Casey would at this time try to
Second: (IMO) A termination order would actually be a believable result. Rogue spies cannot be assumed to have “good” intentions. If Beckman is as paranoid as she sometimes seems(and should be in her position lol), she’s not going to assume they ran off to spend quality time together. We might, though!

All that being said, I think that adding that one line by myopic would have made the scene more grave and the danger seem more imminent. And maybe that is why they decided against it, too much drama, perhaps?

To Don’t Chuck, and Myopic – I think you are slightly
exaggerating with the kill order.
Casey was after Bryce because he ’stole’ the Intersect and was considered rogue because nobody knew his intentions.
This is not the case with Sarah, the authorities know
she doesn’t pose a threat, or a danger to national security. they know she isn’t Fulcrum and that she is
defending the Intersect Carrier.
of course running from her duty and refusal to carry out orders will ‘award’ her a jail time, but no more.

I agree, myopic333, about the termination order. But Sarah is always trying to protect Chuck from the truth that hurts. It would be another “I’m freaking out” moment, if he ever realizes they are playing for keeps. She knows he doesn’t process things like that very well.

I’ve watched the episode several more times this week. It is the best story arc this season.

I agree Jill was portrayed as being very stiff. Hopefully, she will show more emotional attachment to Chuck when she returns. Jill is essential to keep the tension between Chuck and Sarah. Otherwise, it would be far too easy for Chuck to fall for Agent Walker. When Sarah was taking heavy fire during the fight scene, Jill could have attacked her and redeemed herself with Fulcrum. Instead, she chose to find Chuck and his Dad. I think Chuck will have to choose between Jill and Sarah, just as Sarah has had to choose between Bryce and Chuck in previous episodes.

I would only change one thing in this episode. In the final scene when Chuck asks if Sarah knows she can be sent to jail for treason, she should have replied “Not jail, Chuck. They will kill me.” This would be in reference to Casey trying twice to kill rogue agent Bryce Larkin in Season One.

I personally liked the music.And I really loved the episode,One of the best.Great Story,Nice use of the Buymore.Plenty of Action,Good use of comedy and The great ending Chuck and Sarah moment at the end.The theme of trust played out well in the episode.As for Jill they made you feel for her a little bit.But if they play it out like they did with Morgan and Emmett it will come back to haunt him and hurt someone he cares about like Morgans Trusting Emmett hurt Big Mike.And in fact it already has even if Jill doesn’t come back because Chuck’s Allowing a Fulcrum Agent who knows their operation to escape was what made Beckman deside to Bring Chuck in.And Sarah was blamed for her Escape.Now Sarah has commited Treason for him and doesn’t know Chuck let Jill Escape.If Chuck Had told them what Jill Did in saving him and telling him where they where taking his Dad maybe They would have been given another Chance.By the way,Yvonne Gave another great performace and Should Get an Emmy.She can do it all.

Some people have less hate for Jill after this episode. Me? I’m wondering when she’s going to bite Chuck in the buttowski for what he did for her in this ep.

And I’m expecting a trifecta: The Yvonne Show gets more seasons, another night and a full order of 22 – 25 eps!

I have to agree with Lykaon the background music was distracting especially the part were Sarah kick ass! They were not suitable to any of the scenes except the Chuck and Jill momoment (rhymes with Jack n Jill lol)

Can’t wait for the next epi YAY!

This is the first time I actually liked the music. It was songs I knew. I agree this was a great episode. It contained all the elements of previous good Chuck episodes, answered lots of questions, left you asking questions, lots of laughs, and most of the cast was there.
