Happy April Fool’s!
Dear former Strahotski-ites -
Lykaon is out of town on business and his laptop went kaput after a nasty fall from the overhead-storage bin (items really do shift in flight, who knew?), and so he has asked me to let you all know that he’ll be AWOL for the next several days.
You may have noticed some differences in the site – the name, the new sidebar images. I’ve decided to move things in a new direction. I know we all love Yvonne – what’s not to love? – but perhaps the love has gotten a little too extreme.
Perhaps I’m tired of making dinner while Lykaon waxes eloquent about the beauty of another woman in a public forum. Perhaps I’m tired of going to bed alone while Lykaon peruses high-res photos of perfection herself to plan new wallpapers. And perhaps I am ready for some ogling of my own.
Introducing the new Hero of Canton website! I was first introduced to Adam Baldwin with his work on Firefly, for those that don’t get the reference. Jayne was a lovable thug, and I’m even more delighted with Adam’s portrayal of Casey. I definitely appreciate that he’s gone up a few IQ points. 
We can still chat Chuck – that’s mostly what we did on Strahotski anyway – and I hope you’ll stick around to enjoy the new site!

WOW!!! It is still march 31st for me…I was sitting here…like what is going on?? LMAO then I saw someone else’s comment about the date. Wow…you know, when I first started reading “former Strahovski” CHuck cancelation immediately entered my brain. Then I thought that couldn’t be right because they didn’t announce anything yet about that. You got me though!…I am just glad it is April 1st where you are..lol

I just finnished viewing Firefly episode 10 (rewatching the series for the 100th time) so this was a nice treat!
Oh yeah, my mancrush Baldwin seems to have upped the IQ a bit since then, lol.

That’s fine with me. I think Casey did a good job in the last episode when he prefers Sarah to agent Forrest to be his partner.
This shows his professionalism. I think he knows that if agent Forrest is still around, he’ll be distracted… although he feels ashamed of losing her (you can see that from his face when Backman conclude that Sarah is back on the mission).

Yes! Scary that I remember him from My Bodyguard in 1980 and have been a fan since.
He was awesome in Full Metal Jacket (my favorite after R. Lee Ermey) but I don’t think any of his memorable quotes from it are something I want to post…
