Strahovski and Seduction Redux

So tonight we will be treated with a repeat episode from the early part of the second season, Episode 2.02 – Chuck Versus the Seduction.

If you’re going to be seeing it for the first time, or if you just wanted to take a walk down memory lane, you can check out my original review of the episode.

And because I wanted to throw something new into the mix, I’ve concocted a new wallpaper in honor of the episode which I’m sure all will enjoy:

yvonne10_thumb

It’s may not be as fun as a new episode of Chuck, but I hope it fills the void left by a repeat episode.  I especially like that on some resolutions her right hand is right on your taskbar.  Beautiful!

But don’t stop there!  You can also check out the Seduction Gallery over at the new photo gallery where you can rate the images and leave comments.

Feel free to talk further about the episode in the comments, and check back later in the week for a special music-related addition to the site!

everyone’s happy now!…lol…some fans where bummed that this pic was replaced on the main site…but now you can look at it all day on your own computer ;)

  2. Neil says:

It’s been my desktop wallpaper since this episode first aired last fall.

  3. Lykaon says:

@Neil: But this one is super hi-res with a nice fade! I was going to make a much more complicated wallpaper in honor of Seduction, but this picture is so powerful that it really needed very little embellishment.

@reen: Exactly! I felt like it was a good compromise. :)

lykaon, take a peek at the comments for seduction…lol

  5. Truls says:

Damn this wallpaper looks really really great with the windows 7 taskbar. Thanks alot!

  6. Lykaon says:

@reen: Haha. Finally a comment! I don’t blame people for not commenting back then. That was a short and boring review. The new format is much better.

@Truls: I’m glad you like it! I’ve only seen it on Windows Vista at 1920×1200, but it looked beautiful to me!

Are you going to re-review the episode?

Whoo-hoo, Yvonne crawling right towards me! Time to hide for fear of her big…knives. Yeah, knives. ;-)

  8. Ambaryerno says:

I have to say, Yvonne has been a VERY good sport about all these scenes. I started to count how many times an episode we saw her in her underwear or something else skimpy or doing something…well, like that crawl, but I couldn’t keep up!

    Thank you, Yvonne! ;-)

    lmao…nanny :o

I forgot what a good episode that was…at least until stupid Bryce showed up.

  11. Lykaon says:

It was a really good episode. I was way too harsh of it in my original review. But my old review format wasn’t very interesting either. The new one is much better.

This episode was great for people who haven’t kept up with the show or have never watched it. It had comedy, charah, action. It was everything Chuck is about.

It even had good Morgan, Awesome, Ellie and Anna!

I have to agree with Ambaryerno about Yvonne’s good humor in revealing so much of herself so frequently. As lovely as she is, perhaps less might be more. In Chuck vs. the Lethal Weapon I was amused at Chuck suggesting she, having fought valiantly in bra, panties, and high heels, put on her dress while she had Cole prone and in her gun sights.

I think this is one of my favorite episodes, for all of the reasons Lykaon mentioned, and because Sarah was (perhaps for the last time this season, or at least so far) was most open emotionally and verbally. I was also struck at how sweet and her smooth her features were in Seduction. It seems to me that she has looked much harsher, and older, in more recent episodes. Good makeup, or stress of the story line?

    Looks great Lykaon!

This was my favorite episode of the season for many reasons; the crawl being the most obvious, The kiss as well, but the appearance of John Larroquette as Roan Montgomery was great. Wouldn’t it be fun to see him back? Let’s hope that’s the last we see of Bryce, but probably not. Onward to Chevy Chase!

  15. edwin says:

Fine episode, I remeber it well. Obviously, the crawl, plus the kiss, were very memorable. It was also nice to look back and see, with the benefit of hindsight, our varying opinions.
    Great wallpaper Lyakon!

  16. Scott says:

The crawl is probably my favorite scene in the entire series to date.
