Episode 2.16 Captures
I’ve added a super-duper 55 new screen captures to the gallery for Episode 2.16 – Chuck Versus the Lethal Weapon.
The boy shorts definitely lived up the hype, and few people are that cute brushing their teeth. I guess it helps when you’re not really brushing you’re teeth, but heck — she’s a good enough actress that I believe that she’s really brushing her teeth.
Her dress as the party was to die for, and her facial expressions during her last conversation with Chuck lived up to the sort of awesome acting we’ve come to expect from Yvonne Strahovski.
It’s anguish and joy both at the same as she realizes she can’t be with Chuck but he does love her.
I forewent the opportunity to take screen captures of the back of Chuck’s Tron Poster. The details of his chart are interesting, but NBC has a nicer look at the whole thing on the Official Chuck Site.

I tried to get it, but every one I got had her making a silly face. It wasn’t really just a smile as much as it was an expression. Like a very brief feeling of joy.
The one I had made her look like she had buckteeth. I always try to do her justice best I can. Who knows when she might look at them!
More realistically, though, sometimes it’s just hard to catch brief facial expressions — so much of those expressions count on the fluid movement. I can go back and try, maybe.

If it’s any consolation, I did go back and look at it. It’s just so very brief. It’s not even really a smile. It’s just a slight shift of her eyes and a parting of her lips.
Maybe bzzg can make an animated gif out of it.

lykon,is there gonna be season 3 though…its really pissing me off i ment the rating of the show…they should change maybe the time slot or the day from monday to teusday or maybe wednesday since there’s no good shows on that day…right??

Really great screen captures, Lykaon! The comments about the ending being huge to Charah fans is definitely true! And wow, Miss Strahovski’s acting in that ending scene was so real…talented and beautiful, it seems! Oh, do you think Miss Strahovski ever checks this site out? I mean, this is the best fansite out there and since she doesn’t have an official one, it would make sense!

i wonder who makes the pink shorts she was wearing? you’d think they’d want to sign her up for an endorsement deal. i don’t think they could find anyone who wears them better than her.

Did anyone else notice that the t-shirt Sarah is wearing when she gets out of bed at the beginning of the episode is the same t-shirt Chuck was wearing at the end of Chuck vs. The Seduction?

It’s not exactly the same, but it’s a close facsimile. Chuck’s shirt had black writing at the top over the colored area that Sarah’s didn’t have.
I do think the intention, however, was that Sarah was sleeping in one of Chuck’s shirts as part of her cover. It’s probably only different because they misplaced the first one, or had to get a different size to make it look extra cute on Yvonne Strahovski.
It is a nice touch, though.
