Strahovski and First Dates

Wow, it’s good to be back.  It seems like forever ago that we fired up this site and started enjoying Yvonne Strahovski for the first time.

It’s been a year since she stole our hearts and she has become no less perfect in that amount of time.

strahovski-ep113-008.jpgThe premiere of Season 2 of Chuck is adrenaline packed action and fun.

The first 20 minutes of the episode contains more action, heart, and  humor than entire episodes from season 1.

Let’s not forget why we’re here, though.  Our favorite Aussie Beauty is back and better than ever.

The beautiful Yvonne Strahovski and her character, Sarah Walker, have a new job this season at the Orange Orange.  Though she isn’t wearing her awe-inspiring Wienerlicious outfit anymore, the new skin-tight tank top is nothing to sneeze at.

The season starts off right with some romance and gooey-eyes between Chuck and Sarah, only to be interrupted with typical spy stuff.  The chemistry between Levi and Strahovski is phenomenal and has only gotten better since we’ve seen them last.

And as always, the action is amazing, culminating in some of the best choreographed fighting on television with Sarah squaring off against Michael Clarke Duncan.  Don’t think a beautiful blonde can hold her own against the 350lb behemoth?  Think again.

I was happy to see that Captain Awesome finally got his dues in the credits.  Hopefully that means he’s going to be around for a long long time.  And Sarah Lancaster is completely and fully integrated into her character finally.  It was good to see them both back.

And of course Adam Baldwin gets his own paragraph.  He’s continuing to make Casey as awesome as Jayne.  He’s not quite there yet, but he’s well on his way.  Who else thinks Casey needs to grow some facial hair?

A great start to what is sure to be a great season.  I’m so happy my weekly Yvonne Strahovski fix is back.  It was harder to live without it than I realized.

Screen captures should be up tomorrow afternoon.  Until then, hang out in the forums or comment on this post.  Let’s get Yvonne the attention she deserves!

Good episode…I wouldn’t say great, but definitely very GOOD (imo). I like Josh Schwartz’s taste in music, and the way he intertwines Chuck’s themes with contemporary music. Could someone tell me the artist & song at about 7 minutes into this episode? Anyone know where to find song lists & artists for Chuck episodes?

    Thanks!

I did have a nice nostalgic musical moment with those selections from Huey Lewis and the News. Loved those guys in the 80’s, and they’re still great today.

The show was, to quote the Captain, AWESOME! Seeing Sarah laying the smackdown on Mr. Colt… Well, let’s just say that I’m gonna be in my bunk if anybody needs me.
