Sarah vs Kate
IGN has an article up comparing Evangeline Lilly to Yvonne Strahovski.
In particular, they’re focusing on the fighting prowess of their two banner characters, Losts’s Kate Austen and Chucks’s Sarah Walker, respectively.

It’s a close match right now, with Sarah Walker barely edging out Lost’s Kate Austen. Let’s get the Strahotski.com clan in there to show IGN which lady has the bigger fans!

I absolutely love Evangelliny and her character, Kate. I also think that Lost is way better than Chuck…althought, definitely, Yvonne’s Sarah Walker is way much hotter and beautiful and so is her fighting habilities, displayed on the show and her background. Probably, things can turn out to be more of a popularity contest in terms of possible results, but Sarah wins that on. Yvonne is even a better actress, significantly…so, people, let’s vote.

I voted for her, and she was ahead 55 to 45 percent at the time. But publishing that freeze frame shot is tasteless and disrespectful.

I agree with you Scott. I almost didn’t post the article because of it.
When I screen captured that episode I had a friend ask me why I didn’t capture that part of the show.
We just don’t do that here. This site’s about respecting Yvonne and her work. It’s a shame IGN went there, but I decided that I can’t be responsible for what IGN posts and we can’t let Yvonne lose!

Besides, it’s not like you see anything… it’s not much different then the bikini.
But all morality opinions aside… yeah I voted for Sarah and not just because I’m a fan. Highly trained CIA Op versus some pyscho criminal… this one’s over. Though I think it would be a good fight.

Yeah, I do agree with the freeze shot..yes, it possibly is in part disrespectful…but, to be fair, Evangeliny does have a bikini shot ihn her part. Besides, there are some others shots frow the own show with Yvonne that showw as many(or less, hence perpectives) as the picture in debate here…still, she is great no matter what…and she is winning…so…

Lykaon - Yes, I knew you’d feel that way. I didn’t mean *you* were being disrespectful, just that IGN was. It is indeed important to get lots of votes for Yvonne, as that promotes the show and her career.
I wonder if there will be simiilar contests featuring Zach. I’ve seen pictures of him with a day or two of beard growth, and with that he looks much more masculine than you’d expect.

Guys Imma put this out there but I thought that freeze frame did look like a horrible pic of Yvonne. However I don’t remember ever seeing her in that scene on Chuck, but it could be a pic from another show. After actually reading the article and the caption under the pic it said “juliet had it comin’” referring to the other blonde that was Jack’s love interest on LOST. So I think its the blonde on LOST not Yvonne that is gettin’ wailed on by Evangeline Lilly. What do you guys think?

Oh yea and I do watch LOST also so I know what Juliet looks like. That should be Juliet not a bad pic of Yvonne, Yvonne can’t take a bad picture… lol

The “Juliet had it comin” freeze frame isn’t Yvonne, it’s Juliet getting punched out by Kate on Lost. The other freeze frame we’re talking about is of Sarah rolling over the Weinerlicious countertop while fighting Casey in Chuck versus the Helicopter (ep 2).

pictures of Kate are better taken than those of Yvonne. I was even twice as shocked to see that despite having the lesser edge of being a newbie, our dear Yvonne clearly can compete with those veterans. Besides, when I look at Lilly I feel like she’s defenitely gonna hurt me.And Yvonne is way better in acting chops, she’s the only one who can pull the eye acting.

Funny that they picked the two of them in this poll. I remember talking to someone and saying that seeing Yvonne on screen the first time reminded me of seeing Evangeline on screen the first time. Both of them just have that special quality.
