The Ratings
Though we focus on Yvonne Strahovski here at Strahotski.com, we understand that Chuck is a big part of what brings Ms. Strahovski to us every week.
As such, it makes sense to occasionally have a post dedicated to the show that delivered this Australian bombshell to all of us.
For those who don’t know, Chuck was not picked up for a full season before the writer’s strike. It has been reported that that decision won’t be made until the strikes are over. That could spell bad news for Chuck if the strike isn’t resolved quickly.
All that aside, here are the ratings numbers for the show thus far:
- Episode 1.01 - 9.28 Million
- Episode 1.02 - 8.22 Million
- Episode 1.03 - 7.12 Million
- Episode 1.04 - 8.23 Million
- Episode 1.05 - 7.14 Million
- Episode 1.06 - 7.03 Million
- Episode 1.07 - 7.70 Million
That’s an average of 7.82 Million viewers each week. Not bad for a fledgling show. Surely enough to keep it on the air assuming the strike ends.
And Chuck staying on the air means only one thing to us — more Yvonne Strahovski for everyone!

When is the last episode of Chuck we’re gonna see then, if this strike continues?

Not entirely sure, but air dates and titles have been released up through Episode 11 (to air on March 12).
That’s probably the last one. I’m not sure the lead time they need to get new episodes out (meaning I’m not sure when the strike has to end to not effect future production of the show).
Interestingly, it looks like the show will go on hiatus after Episode 10, so there’ll be no Chuck for months. This isn’t totally uncommon these days.
Things are gonna be slow on the site during those times, though. I should start stocking up wallpapers now.

Very. But that’s the way it goes. Unfortunately, it’s bad for the site. We’ll probably lose a lot of visitors during the hiatus.

loving the additions, especially the Sarah Walker page- you should also add she has a sister (she mentiooned her in Chuck vs Wookie when they were playing the game in the beginning) you should also add a comment feature there….
Chuck better not be cancelled, I need my Yvonne fix!! I’m having a hard enough time only being able to see her once a week…

Lykaon, I thought the same when Heroes went on said hiatus last year. It sucks.
