Craig Ferguson Interview
Yvonne’s interview with Craig Ferguson is up on YouTube and you can watch it right here at Strahotski.com.
The interview is only six and half minutes long, so not a whole lot of time with her. It doesn’t seem to me that Craig had a lot prepared to talk to her about.
It was a fun interview, though, and seeing Yvonne Strahovski as herself is a rare treat. I hope she hits up more talk shows soon so we can get more about her. I say she host Saturday Night Live — what say you?

She was fantastic. I agree, too little time was spent with her, but her appearance merely reinforced by ‘attraction.’ She was so far away from the current trend of vapid hollywood tarts. She was intelligent, quick, sweet, demure, and modest. I find it truly disturbing when the New Actress of the Week does an interview where she seems compelled to pepper in sexual innuendo or narcissistic, self-aggrandizing comments…. Yvonne has a maturity about her. Refreshing.
And, it was a bit ‘odd,’ finally hearing that accent, as she ‘does’ the US so seamlessly. [I loved the Scottish bit….]

I agree. Is there anyway to save YouTube vids? I have a Yvonne folder going on with press/screencaps/ect.. and interviews would be nice. Thanks

Her maturity is a nice change of pace that’s for sure. I was pretty impressed with the interview overall as well.
As for saving off YouTube videos, I’m sure there’s a way but I’m not aware of what it is. I uploaded the original to YouTube, so I have an 81MB AVI of the interview. That’s a might big to host, though.

Ok you guys know that bit where she said Alex O’Loughlin is not her type and she wouldn’t reveal what her unique preferences in a guy was after Craig probed about it a bit more? Someone needs to find out what her type is lol.

Saw the interview. Ferg’s was great with theHOTski. She was good, playful, fun. I predict a long career here for her - if she wants it. Not to bad of an accent either - gettin’ kinda tired of the aussie invasion in the US - but she is/will always be welcome. Odd that Seth Green was on before her. Thought that he would be a better Morgan than the guy the have now.

I’m in love with this chick! I only hope she’s not gay for my sake, so I can have a chance with her (like that will ever happen anyway, but…) My friend’s gaydar says she probably isn’t but is dating someone on the DL and doesn’t want anyone to know about it, but you never know…

BTW, I think she should smile and laugh more often, she has a BEAUTIFUL smile and looks SO much better than when she’s serious.
And she has an adorable lisp when she talks on any accent

I watched the Ferguson interview live (as it was first aired on TV at 1:15 am Eastern Time, not live in the audience), and the first time I heard the “not my style” response I took it that she had a boyfriend she didn’t want to go public with yet. Her phrasing and body language were indeed unusual, but then again she’s from a different culture. But I watched the interview again after a good night’s sleep and it did hit me that her response could be taken to mean she’s gay.
I wondered if she meant that Alex O’Loughlin is gay and therefore not her style, but Wikipedia says he has a girlfriend named Holly.
It’s hard to say what she meant though, if anything. She didn’t seem to get Ferguson’s earlier joke about the nightclub named “Queensland”, and you’d think she’d have gotten it if she were gay. Ferguson has a way of flustering his female guests with his off-the-wall comments and weird sense of humor, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it was just an innocent but awkward response with no hidden meaning.
I suppose we’ll find out eventually, although it’s not really important to me. I’m straight but married and too old anyway so I wasn’t looking for someone to hook up with, I just like the TV show, and her acting, and her chemistry with Zach. No matter what her orientation is, I still think she’s a great actress and I’ll continue to watch Chuck and anything else she’s in.

I don’t think she’s gay, honestly. But I do have my suspicions that her and Zach Levi may have something going on because there’s a couple pictures that aren’t stills from the show and well… chemistry looks quite well.
Her personal life is just that: personal. I respect that

As for her ’style’, I’m happy either way. She’s beautiful regardless and she’s an excellent actress. Just seeing her in an interview strengthens my loyalty to her as a fan.
I hope she finds some work outside of Chuck here in the States. I’d love to see her in a feature length film.
More than anything, though, I hope she grants Strahotski.com an exclusive interview someday!!

I’m not going to guess what she meant but going on national TV and talking about what attracts her to a guy would ensure that every a-hole she meets in the future would try to act like that type of guy. It’s a pretty dumb thing to do. I’m surprise sometimes stars do that.

Yea when she said her type is “unique” I instantly thought she must be a lesbian. I hope she’s not for the sake of all us men out there, but still that’s a strange answer even if she’s dating Zach or another actor. I mean she could have said “tall, dark and handsome” and not pointed anyone out. I’m sure we’ll know for sure though in the future.
